1. STAY FOCUSED ON WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL
We have NO CONTROL over what’s going on in the world right now and the only thing we can do is stay calm, abide by the rules and manage our responses to it. It’s time to REFOCUS our power to the things we can control and leave the rest up to the UNIVERSE.
Example: I can control my time and efforts, my focus, hard work, and consistency, in working on my brand (MIND•BODY•SOUL / Protein Boost ) and getting my product out there and on the shelves, but I can’t control how many, likes, shares, and views I get for this video, or how much I will sell, if people will like my protein supplement, what kind of reviews I will get, or how successful I will be. So instead of wasting my energy on things that are out of my control I continue to thrive in the areas I know I can control and leave the rest up to the universe.
2. WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO INFLUENCE THE OUTCOME
We can influence the outcome, we just can’t control it. For Example: Self-Care is vital to our wellbeing (a nutrient dense diet, regular exercise, meditation, affirmations, and our responses to the challenges we are facing today.) When we put our energy into things we can’t control what does it do? it takes our energy and attention away from what we can control. Often leading us on a merry go round to nowhere but pain and suffering. We are less productive, less efficient and often feel defeated when we get caught up in worrying about things we can’t control.
During my journey of becoming an entrepreneur I’ve learned to adapt when the road suddenly takes a sharp turn, I have learned through self-talk not be so hard on myself, have a better understanding of constructive criticism and know that it’s an opportunity to grow, learn and be better than I was yesterday. I have developed “a whatever it takes attitude!” It takes a lot of discipline to focus on what we can control, because we tend to inherit (whether we realize it or not) other peoples stress and anxiety.
3. WHERE ARE YOU INVESTING YOUR TIME?
Ask yourself often, are the choices you’re making nourishing your energy or draining your energy. Slow down and do less. Spend time on the things that mean the most to you that empower you and bring value to your life, instead of doing more things that leave you scattered, drained and empty.
Lock yourself in and COMMIT
To taking ACTION on your purpose. No more distractions, no more excuses. Most importantly, follow through on what you say you’re going to do, don’t flake on your plan, having a whatever it takes attitude to accomplish your goals, will take you anywhere you want to go. Be curious. Be fearless. Be open to opportunity. Know thyself. Be in alignment with your most desired passions. Embrace uncertainty. Enjoy the process and that means embrace all of it. If you implement these things wonderful little miracles will start to manifest in your life.
