How To Find Your Happy 😃

With all that’s going on in the world today it’s more important than ever to find your HAPPY. Ask yourself, what does the word happy even mean? For me personally HAPPY means living a spiritual life no matter what I’m doing. It’s paying attention to my thoughts, emotions, beliefs and negative behaviors. Spirituality is personal and individual, it is a dimension that brings you peace from both the MIND and the HEART.

Hey guys what’s up this is Tricia with MIND•BODY•SOUL hope you are healthy and doing well. So how do you find your HAPPY

1. Give Yourself Permission

Give yourself permission to be who you are; permission to play, laugh uncontrollably, fail brightly, permission to breakdown, to get back up again; permission to be different, to push your limits, to live your life on your own terms and to pursue your dreams.

2. Pay Attention to the Physiology of your Body

Self-awareness is key when your mood dips and things aren’t going your way. This self-awareness will direct you to make adjustments to fine-tune your energy. For example: if you feel stuck and heavy get outside in nature, do something completely different then your everyday routine, keep life fun and interesting, be curious. If you eat fast food and it makes you feel tired, unmotivated, and bloated, or have too many glasses of wine before bed that makes you feel like crap in the morning, or eating that tub of ice cream while watching a movie causes you to go into a sugar coma then it’s probably a good sign that you need to make some adjustments to your diet. And yes this can negatively affect your happiness.

3. Don’t Make your Relationships the Be-All-End-All

I used to have the mindset that I NEEDED someone in my life to make me happy, but quite the contrary it made me miserable. I now know and understand completely 💯 that finding and falling in love with myself through a period of isolation brought me to the realization that a healthy relationship is supposed to increase your happiness not take away your happiness. Don’t rely on your partners to heal you, fix you, complete me Jerry McGuire bullshit or fill your empty spaces. And remember it goes both ways. You are not responsible for your partner’s happiness or how they emotionally respond to wound that they have not yet healed. This is where you can offer them the support, compassion and the space to discover their own happiness while you create your own.

4. Be of Service

Being of service is a win/win you are not only showing compassion for another human being but them accepting your service is the bigger gift to yourself, as long as it doesn’t drain your energy. Have loving healthy boundaries so you can give more.
